Where Champions Reside
ThorSport Farm is a premier reining and breeding facility situated on 530 acres in Murfreesboro, Tenn. It features multiple riding arenas, round pens, and paddocks; and an onsite veterinary clinic and equine surgical center. While fairly new to reining, ThorSport Farm’s Allison Thorson began showing Tennessee Walking Horses at the age of 8 and holds 90 world championships in the discipline. ThorSport Farm sister-company brands are displayed and in use at the farm. They include Tenda Horse Products, ThorTurf Dustless footing, EquiClear dust suppressant, and FarmPaint agricultural-grade coatings. Built in 2012, the farm previously served as a boarding and training facility for Tennessee Walking Horses.
Allison Thorson
In addition to capturing the 2020 NRHA Rookie of the Year title, Allison holds more than 300 Tennessee Walking Horse Championships. Starting at 8 years old, during her youth career, Allison earned more than 1,000 blue ribbons and more than 100 high point championships. She is a 38-time National Champion; 50-time International Champion; and is the holder of 90 World Titles, including 11 World Grand Championships. She has shown Tennessee Walking Horses in English, Western, Equitation, Showmanship, Model and Trail disciplines, with her parents supporting her along the way as coaches and grooms.
As manager of ThorSport Farm South, Allison’s day-to-day responsibilities contribute to fostering and maintaining the farm’s high standards and welcoming environment.
