At ThorSport Ranch, breeding is about looking beyond the next foal crop. The decisions made today can shape a program for years to come.
Years may pass before a resulting foal enters the show pen and has the chance to prove what those genetics can do. With that in mind, the ThorSport Stallion Incentive was created as a longterm commitment to breeders and the horses they are working to create.
Through the ThorSport Incentive Fund, ThorSport Ranch is putting meaningful support behind the breeding process, beginning with accomplished mares and proven stallions and continuing that support as their offspring enter the show pen and compete at the highest levels of reining.
Qualifying mares are eligible for a waived breeding fee to participating ThorSport stallions. To qualify, a mare must have $30,000 or more in NRHA lifetime earnings or NRHA progeny earnings exceeding $50,000.
When an eligible offspring sired by a participating ThorSport stallion wins a division at the NRHA Open or Non Pro Futurity, ThorSport will reward that achievement with:
- Level 1 Champion — $20,000
- Level 2 Champion — $30,000
- Level 3 Champion — $40,000
- Level 4 Champion — $50,000
Those payouts bring the ThorSport Incentive Fund full circle, rewarding breeding decisions made years earlier.

The ThorSport Incentive Fund represents an investment in the breeders making those decisions today and the horses that will prove them tomorrow. The next great reining horse begins long before the first slide, spin or trip through the show pen. It begins with a breeding decision.
